I encountered an older woman who, at one point, dropped her scissors and used her gloved hand to pick them up and continue cutting the plaster. I had prepared replacement supplies for her. She charged me 200 baht and damaged the waterproof bandage I had initially applied, as shown in the picture. She didn't give me a receipt or anything. I later learned from a food vendor nearby that she had already left. She should have told me if she wasn't skilled; I could have gone elsewhere.
