Medical Clinic Bangkok is an independent directory that helps foreign patients — expats, medical tourists, and visitors — find trusted clinics in Bangkok using transparent, data-driven scoring.
Why this exists
Bangkok has thousands of medical clinics, but finding the right one as a foreigner is surprisingly hard. Google ratings tell you a clinic is “4.8 stars” but not whether the staff speaks English, whether pricing is transparent, or whether wait times are reasonable.
We built this directory to solve that problem. Every clinic is scored across 8 specific dimensions that matter to foreign patients, using AI analysis of real Google Maps reviews. No paid placements, no sponsored listings, no black boxes.
What we do
- Collect public reviews — We pull every review from Google Maps for each verified clinic in Bangkok.
- Classify with AI — Each review is analyzed across 8 dimensions: English communication, wait time, clinical competence, pricing transparency, facility quality, staff friendliness, foreigner accessibility, and follow-up care.
- Score with confidence— Scores are only shown when we have enough data. Low-confidence dimensions are clearly flagged. We don’t guess.
- Award badges— Clinics that consistently score well on specific dimensions earn badges like “Excellent English Communication” or “Transparent Pricing.”
What we don’t do
- We don’t accept payment for rankings or placement.
- We don’t employ doctors or provide medical advice.
- We don’t guarantee the accuracy of any individual review.
- We don’t replace your own due diligence when choosing a clinic.
Data sources
All review data comes from publicly available Google Maps reviews. Clinic information (address, phone, hours, specialty) is collected from Google Maps business listings. Classification is performed using large language models. Our full methodology is published at /methodology.
